Jinx

Meet Jinx!
Jinx has settled into foster life beautifully over the past few weeks! She’s a typical puppy with a big personality: sweet, playful, curious, and eager to please. She’s learning her manners, figuring out boundaries, and making wonderful progress every day.
Jinx has done very well with her three canine foster siblings, including a 10-pound dog. She is generally respectful of other dogs’ boundaries, even those who prefer their personal space. Like any young pup, she can occasionally push the limits when bored or overstimulated, but these moments are becoming increasingly rare as she learns to regulate herself.

Jinx is also a lovely walking companion! She walks nicely on leash and has made tremendous progress with her initial habit of biting the leash. One of her favorite activities is collecting her emotional support leaves and pinecones along the way. She enjoys observing new people and things, sometimes taking a moment to warm up before her curiosity wins out.
Jinx loves romping around the yard, playing with toys, and showing off her fetch skills. She’s handler-focused, attentive, and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for all sorts of fun activities, training, and potentially dog sports. She’s also learning that relaxing is an activity, too, and is increasingly happy to hang out in the yard and enjoy some downtime.

Jinx is crate trained and does wonderfully overnight. She may grumble a little when first settling in, but quickly relaxes and sleeps quietly through the night. She’s patient when it’s time to come out, too. Her potty training is coming along beautifully! She thrives on a consistent schedule, can communicate when she needs to go outside, and has had very few accidents.
Like many puppies, Jinx can occasionally get mouthy when frustrated or bored. The good news is that she's made huge improvements and responds well to redirection with a simple “toys!” Because she is still working through this behavior, a home without young children would likely be the best fit.
Jinx currently lives with cats, although she has not had free access to them. She does show some interest in chasing, so any potential feline siblings would need slow, thoughtful introductions and appropriate boundaries. With patience and management, she may be able to learn to coexist with cats.

At the end of the day, Jinx is a girl who simply wants to be part of the fun. She loves attention, being included in whatever her people are doing, and snuggling up once she’s had her fill of puppy adventures.
Jinx is looking for a loving home ready to embrace all the fun (and occasional shenanigans!) that come with raising a puppy. Someone who will continue helping her learn, provide enrichment and activities, and appreciate her affectionate, eager-to-please personality.
Jinx has so much potential and so much love to give. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, a future adventure partner, a fetch enthusiast, or a professional cuddle companion,
Jinx might just be your girl!
