Robin
Robin is a 3 yr old BC mix who is a gentle soul looking for his person or people. He enjoys playing fetch, but then will come inside to enjoy a nap and some cuddles. In typical herding breed fashion he can be anxious and would do best with a person or people who has a history with this type of breed/anxiously attached dogs. He does well with structure/routine and he is insanely intelligent, but also eager to please. He would excel in dogs sports or with people who enjoys hiking/outdoor activities.
He is currently fostered with 2- 25lbs corgis, so he takes correction from other dogs in stride. He really would like to play with his foster siblings, but they tell him he’s too big. He does have ‘bull in China shop’ energy when excited and sometimes forgets his size, so would be best in a home without children.
He is a happy go lucky kinda dude who just needs a little kindness and understanding.

Amy is currently fostering “Robin” and this guy is AWESOME! He is settling in beautifully as he’s decompressing from his shelter stay.
Amy says that Robin loves “running around like a maniac, eating snow, and chewing bones/toys”.
He has not shown any signs of resource guarding, is eager to learn new things, and easily redirected.
He’s a dog & people friendly love bug that deserves the best home.
Robin is recovering well from his neuter and adapting well into his foster home.
So far we know that he gets along well with other herding breeds his size or smaller.
Robin is playful but respectful of other dog’s space when corrected. Most of all, he is a happy go lucky kinda guy that just wants to be by your side.
We’re still working on things like not jumping, but Robin is incredibly smart and with consistent training he’s getting better. He already knows sit, lay down, come, and we’re working on stay/impulse control.
He’s gonna have no problem capturing someone’s heart!
